Terms of use

Last updated: 28 August 2026

Use of BumpHop constitutes acceptance of these terms of use.

Purpose and access

BumpHop lets visitors discover profiles ranked by place and apply for sponsored visibility. Browsing is public; some features require a verified email, personal sign-in link and, where applicable, payment.

Account and security

Owners must provide an address they control, protect sign-in links and report suspicious access. They remain responsible for actions performed through their session.

Identity, authority and rights

Users warrant that they are the person presented, validly represent the entity or have permission, and hold the necessary rights to the name, logo, copy and URL. BumpHop may request reasonable evidence and suspend a profile during review.

Nature and evolution of rankings

Positions reflect sponsored visibility calculated from the current value of contributions. Each contribution keeps its full ranking value for 120 days, after which it gradually decreases with a half-life of 365 days. The amount paid remains recorded, but no position is permanent. Rankings are not recommendations, quality certifications or editorial endorsements.

Moderation and prohibited use

BumpHop may review, reject, suspend or remove profiles under its moderation policy. Users must not bypass security, overload the service, automate requests abusively, impersonate others, manipulate statistics or infringe third-party rights.

Reporting

Anyone may report impersonation, infringement or unlawful content by identifying the URL, facts and useful evidence. Abusive or misleading reports may be dismissed.

Availability and liability

The service may be interrupted for maintenance, security or development. Users remain responsible for their content and third-party destinations. BumpHop does not guarantee those sites’ availability or continued ranking positions.

Suspension and governing law

Access or profiles may be suspended for breach, fraud, security risk or legal obligation. These terms are governed by French law without removing consumers’ mandatory rights.
